SYMPTOM(s):
The Data Direct 4.1 driver is not listed in the ODBC Data Source (DSN) list
The Data Direct 4.1 installation completed without errors.
The registry entry, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBCINST.INI\DataDirect 4.1 32-Bit Progress SQL92 v9.1D does not exist

CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing
FIX:
Uncompress the DataDirect41.exe file in the DataDirect41 folder (under the 9.1D06 Service Pack directory) with Winzip:
Right-click on the DataDirect41.exe file and choose Winzip, "extract to here".
Launch Microsoft Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. Select 'Add a New program' and choose CD or floppy, hit Next, browse to the DataDirect41 folder and select setup.exe.
Run the installation following the instructions that are in the Readme for the installation of the driver (located in the DataDirect41 folder).
