Progress Service Pack 7 is installed
Performance is very low and this is a new installation
CAUSE:
Tru64 is doing some buffering while piping data between processes, Kernel parameter fifo_do_adaptive is set to 1
FIX:
Setting fifo_do_adaptive= 0, to disable the buffering allows the performance go back to normal.
