GOAL:
When adding a progress product, do I have to reinstall the Progress service pack?
FACT(s) (Environment):
All Supported Operating Systems
Progress 9.x
OpenEdge 10.x
FIX:
Yes. If you have a system that already has a Progress service pack installed and you add a new progress product to the existing installation (.cfg file), you must reinstall the progress service pack. The newly installed product can overwrite files that the service pack had updated.
