Probuild version 8.1a using Microsoft compiler 2.2 and 4.0
In Version 8.1A NT product we used 2.2 of the Microsoft C compiler
so all of the objects which ship (for use by PROBUILD) were built
with this version of the compiler.
Microsoft released version 4.2 in late summer. If customers build .obj
files using version 4.2 then they will be incompatible and will
receive errors when linking with object files built using the version
2.2 of the C compiler.
This will also cause problems with ESQL customers and also affect
the HLC and use-defined sort customers.
All customers who would be building separate object files and linking
them with the object files we ship with the product are affected.
