SYMPTOM(s):
Cannot see Turkish characters properly in Procedure Editor
The default Windows locale have been set to Turkish
Progress session uses 1254 for -cpinternal and -cpstream
Turkish data gets changed in Procedure Editor
Characters are displayed properly using pure Windows tools
CAUSE:
The font used within Progress is not set to support Turkish.
FIX:
Open Procedure Editor -> Buffer -> Font -> pick the font -> Edit -> Script -> (set to) Turkish -> Save settings.
Now the Turkish characters will be displayed properly.
