Installation of Dynamics Databases fails during installation of OpenEdge 10
Manual execution of DCU utility fails as well
The toggle box 'create databases' has been ticked during the installation
Upgrade failed with error: MSG_DB_creation_failed,Unable to copy source or target database, because we could not connect to it. (8265)
Multiple versions of Progress are installed on the same machine
CAUSE:
DLC environment variable is set on the OS level and pointing to older Progress version and this breaks the connect for DCU
FIX:
Unset the DLC pointing to older Progress version and re-run the DCU utility
