NO-WAIT option is ignored in AS/400
NO-WAIT option does not work with AS/400 files not created via Progress/400 Data Dictionary
NO-WAIT option works on files created via Progress/400 Data Dictionary
CAUSE:
When the physical file was created on the AS/400 the "Maximum Record Wait Time" was set to 60. This caused the NO-WAIT option to be overridden.
FIX:
Change the two parameters "Maximum File Wait Time" and "Maximum Record Wait Time" to be *IMMED. This is the value of the parameters when physical files are created via the Progress/400 Data Dictionary
