SYMPTOM(s):
Replication installation does not copy updated promsgs file into $DLC
Replication installation does not detect AdminServer running during the installation
Replication installation does not detect Databases running during the installation
CAUSE:
This is a known issue
FIX:
Since the updated $DLC/promsgs file is required by replication server and replication agent in order to operate properly, following steps are required to complete installation manually:
1) stop the databases on the server when Replication has been installed
2) stop the AdminServer on the server when Replication has been installed
3) copy $DLC/prolang/ame/promsgs.ame into $DLC/promsgs
(this well assumes, English-American promsgs are being used within 9.1D installation, if not, please copy your own selected promsgs.XXX from $DLC/prolang/XXX to $DLC/promsgs)
4) start AdminServer and databases afterwards.
