SYMPTOM(s):
probkup estimate reports incorrect media size
option "-estimate" of probkup gives wrong information
Numbers from messages 6686 and 9285 show the problem
<num> active blocks out of <num> blocks in <name> will be dumped. (6686)
Backup requires an estimated <size+identifier> of media. (9285)
Message 9286 gives correct numbers
Restore would require an estimated db blocks using <size+identifier> of media. (9286)
Worked with database smaller than 4 GB
CHANGE:
Database grew over 4 Gig
CAUSE:
This is a known issue being investigated by Development
FIX:
Upgrade AIX would be a workaround as the problem does not occur on AIX 5.2
