SYMPTOM(s):
Progress client connection fails when attempting SSL
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) failure. error code -54: unable to get local issuer certificate (9318)
CAUSE:
The *.0 files that correspond to the *.pem files are missing from the %DLC%\certs directory.
FIX:
Obtain the new certificate directory from the Progress FTP site that contains the correct *.pem and .0 files.
1. Point a Web browser to ftp://ftp.progress.com
2. Browse to the pub/ssl/certs directory.
3. Replace the files within the cert directory on the ftp site with the certificate files in the certs directory on the Progress Client.
