FACT(s) (Environment):

SYMPTOM(s):
Unable to run "proinst" on Linux from a customer created CD using a downloaded ESD Progress product.
The entered configuration information is incorrect. Re-enter the configuration data (139).
CAUSE:
The Progress product downloaded for Linux was decompressed on a Win32 operating platform then burned to CD.
FIX:
To resolve this problem, follow the steps outlined below:
1) FTP the original Progress product download file over to the Linux box in
binary mode.
2) Use the Linux "tar" and "uncompress" commands to decompress the product files
into their native operating environment (Linux) prior to burning them to a CD.
3) Burn the new installation CD using a Linux mounted CD burner.
