FACT(s) (Environment):
Caldera Open UNIX/SCO UnixWare
SYMPTOM(s):
accept() on port <portNum> failed: <IOException_string> (8047) with 9.1D Sonic Adapter installed over 9.1A Progress installation.
CAUSE:
9.1D Sonic Adapter was installed into existing 9.1A Progress installation.
These two versions are not compatible and should be installed into separate directories.
FIX:
Remove the Progress installation on Unix by removing the entire directory.
Re-Install different versions of Progress into separate directories.
