ProDataSet is not supported with an OpenEdge SonicESB Adapter, OpenEdge Web Service (Web Services Adapter) and an ABL Web Service client in OpenEdge release 10.0A and 10.0B.
In OpenEdge release 10.1A, Progress has added ProDataSet support for the 4GL Web Service client. This new functionality allows ProDataSet parameters to be used in Web Service calls from the 4GL to a non-Progress Web Service. In this case the documentation created by the WSDL Analyzer (bprowsdldoc) will show whether the parameter can be mapped to a ProDataSet. However, Progress has not yet added ProDataSet support for the OpenEdge Web Service (WSA) and OpenEdge Sonic ESB Adapter in 10.1A and 10.1B.
Support for ProDataSet in the Web Services Adapter and Sonic ESB Adapter has been added in OpenEdge 10.1C.
