GOAL:
Is additional SCO users license needed for Progress AppServer when running multiply brokers ?
GOAL:
Is additional SCO telnet license needed for Progress AppServer when running multiply brokers ?
FACT(s) (Environment):
Caldera Open UNIX/SCO UnixWare
FIX:
No extra SCO users license (telnet) is required for Progress AppServer.
AppServer broker or agent are just processes spawned on the machine, and the connection from (4GL) client to the AppServer uses TCP/IP layer, eg it will create a socket on the (SCO) machine, so there is no need for additional telnet license.
