Yes.
There is indeed a confusing statement in page 1-7 (15 of 72) of the "Progress
DynamicsTM Product Update Bulletin":
"For Progress Dynamics Version 2.0A02, Dynamic SBOs are only supported
for GUI clients. Dynamics SBOs are not supported for DHTML clients in
this release."
This is incorrect.
However, keep in mind the following written in the release notes of 2.1A:
11326 1-1 SBOs unsupported on Dynamics Web

One-to-One SBO's (Static and Dynamic) are special kind of SBO's that are
based on schema tables that may have one-to-one relationships. Dynamics
Web does not support 1-1 SBOs in this release.

SBO·s on web need DataSources, UpdateTargets and Navigation target
to be set

For SBO's work on Dynamics Web, it is essential to set the DataSources,
Update and Navigation Targets. Any containers with SBO's where these
properties are not set, the container will not work on Web. The
DataSources, UpdateTargets and Navigation can not be CVS list and can
only be a single SDO.
