SYMPTOM(s):
Trying to consolidate a Polish TranMan database and an English TranMan database.
Polish characters are imported incorrectly into a Latin 1 TranMan database.
The Polish strings are exported from TranMan using the File->Export menu option in the Data tab.
A code page other than Undefined is selected in the Export dialog box.
CAUSE:
Choosing any code page other than Undefined during the Export dialog box will result in code page conversion when importing the strings.
FIX:
The code page for the TranMan database is Undefined by default. To guarantee that the Polish strings are imported into the new TranMan database without any alterations, you need to choose the Undefined code page when exporting.
