Problem with display of screen size of character client on Citrix
Deployments on Win2000 with screen size of 80x25 are okay
Cannot set screen size of 80x25 for deployments on Citrix MetaFrame XP
Have to scroll down to see messages when starting a _progres session
CAUSE:
Windows Citrix sessions default screen buffer size is smaller than the desired 80x25.
FIX:
Set the screen buffer size on the Citrix session through the registry by:
1) From within the Citrix Program Neighborhood where _progres.exe is started:
Right-click the control button in the top left hand corner, and select ?Properties?.
2) On the ?Layout? tab, make sure that the Height and Width fields are set to ?80? and ?25? respectively for both Screen Buffer Size and Window Size, then click OK.
3) Finally select the ?Save properties for future windows with same title? radio button to save these settings.
Then in HKEY/Current User/Console/ the new ScreenBufferSize and WindowSize, need to be exported to HKEY/Local Machine/Console
