SYMPTOM(s):
Error "Data source name not found and no default driver specified" when attempting to view a Crystal report in ASP
Logon failed. Details: IM002:[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified
Crystal Reports 9 Runtime Engine
Using the Crystal Report Designer Component version 9 to view reports created against a Progress database
CAUSE:
When creating a Crystal report, information from the ODBC DSN is saved within the report. This is usually DSN Name and User ID. If no DSN is present with criteria matching that of the DSN against which the report was created, then this error could be generated.
FIX:
Ensure that the ODBC connection has the same criteria as the DSN used to create the Crystal Report
