SYMPTOM(s):
Probkup Errors with a 1049, when block size is 8K.
Error creating a backup using Probkup
write to <backup device> failed, errno = <code> (1049)
Do not know the model of tape drive.
FACT(s) (Environment):
write to /dev/rmt0 failed errno 22 (1049)
write to /dev/rmt/1mn failed, errno = 5 (1049)
Error writing backup header (1056)
Using different blocking factors on the tape drive did not help.
Scripts for probkup on other platforms run.
Caldera Open UNIX/SCO UnixWare

CHANGE:
Changed Block size of database from 1K to 8K and scripts for probkup of the database fail on SCO Unixware only.
CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing
FIX:
Add -bf 8 to the probkup scripts when database is on SCO Unixware.
