Can't start NT db with dir security enabled using NTFS
If someone wants to use file/directory security with our NT 8.0B
database server they can not change the security on the directory. If
they do they will get "Can't find .lk file" message, and the db will
not start. To test I removed all access to the group everyone and
added full access for the dir for the group administrators. I was
logged on as admin. This failed. When I changed security to just the
.db and .bi file everything worked fine. I only tested this using
8.0B. The security option is only available using NTFS. You can not
change security on directories or files using FAT.
Tested using NT 3.51.
