SYMPTOM(s):
Error: SYSTEM ERROR: Error writing backup header (1056)
CAUSE:
The customer used the following line in their backup script:
exec $DLCMV/_dbutil probkup $CADB/$DB /dev/rmt0 -g $CABI/$DB
FIX:
After removing the "-g" parameter from the backup script (which was valid in older versions of Progress), the backup ran fine.
