SYMPTOM(s):
Cannot start WebSpeed broker
Unable to find wsbroker1 (8281)
wsconfig does not report any error on wsbroker1
No changes have been done to ubroker.properties
Default ubroker.properties are used
AdminServer starts successfully
Older version of Progress is also installed on a same machine
CHANGE:
Installed WebSpeed 3.1D
CAUSE:
OS environment variables JAVA_HOME, CLASSPATH, DLC were pointing to the older version of Progress.
FIX:
Unset JAVA_HOME, CLASSPATH and set DLC correctly before starting the AdminServer.
