SUMMARY:

8.0C / 7.3C30 Maintenance Release Progress/400 DataServer

The following Bugs have been fixed in this release:

96-05-30-026 DUPPRODB does not copy P__SEQ and P__TRGFL files. Data in
some server schema files was not being copied to the new
dictionary library on the DUPPRODB commmand.
96-02-29-037 Legal character being changed. Legal characater was
inadvertently being changed # and $ were being translated
to '_'.
96-08-21-006 Release name in file VERSION is wrong. The release name
for the RISC V3R6 product in the version file showed
CISC, not RISC.
96-07-26-003 DBA error with char field format of X(38). If you
specified a field format of 38 characters, it was truned
into a floating point field.
96-06-10-043 Data Mapping error with FOR-SEPARATE. Date separators
were not managed correctly and incorrect DDS
specifications were constructed. The fields in the
generated files had the wrong date separators.
96-06-10-033 Delete Fails on Limited Logicals/Virtual Files. Changing
or deleting the physical file that has virtual files
over it was failing in the commit of the changes.
96-05-23-015 Documentation changed to show that Incremental Loads are
not supported.
96-04-24-027 Field assign triggers are not loading. Not all triggers
assigned to fields were loading during the load of
definitions.
96-04-10-020 LFP connect fails without QGPL/QPRINT. If you did not
have QGPL in the library list, Progress/400 could not
find output queue QPRINT to write output.
96-04-04-025 Delete Table Does Not Delete Physcical File. Deleting a
table with the data dictionary would not delete it if it
did not reside in the dictionary library.
96-03-13-024 Delete field and reuse order number. Using the data
dictionary, if you deleted a field and created another
one using the same order number, the commit would fail.
96-03-11-005 CHGPRODCT supports file lists with *LIBL. If you
specified *LIBL in the FRMLIB parameter on CHGPRODUCT, it
ignored the files you tried to add.
96-03-08-018 CHGPRODCT does not add Logical Files to schema.
96-06-17-012 Message Text missing from PRO4MSG. Text for message
SYS3450 was not in the Progress/400 message file.
96-06-13-007 Cannot Load DF files with Frozen Tables. Progress/400
could not load the definitions for a table with FROZEN
attribute.
96-05-30-039 Authority Violations in Audit Journal. When connecting to
the Progress/400 DataServer, a series of violations was
logged to the Audit Log.
96-05-28-046 CHGPRODCT not Setting _FOR-SEPARATE and _FORMAT correctly
The server schema was not updated properly with the
correct values to support date separators.
96-04-04-020 SYNC not working for deleted PF. Deleting a physical file
in an alternate library that is attached to a
Progress/400 server schema with DLTF was not processed by
CHGPRODCT to update the server schema.
96-01-31-027 COLHDG with ' ' causes problem. If you compile a DDS with
a blank string in the COLHDG field, the Progress/400
DataServer did not apply the attributes properly to the
schema.
96-09-12-012 P__SEQ remains journaled after DBA error. Journaling of
the P__SEQ schema file was not removed after an error
occurred during a commit.
96-08-16-027 CHGPRODCT not accepting DDS T data type. A TIME data type
was not processed properly by CHGPRODCT so adds or
changes to the file with the TIME field caused a commit
failure.
96-07-29-030 FIND using RECID fails. If you had a primary index with
SELECT/OMIT criteria, and you changed the primary index
to an index without SELECT/OMIT criteria, you could have
experienced FIND failures using RECID.
