The following errors occur running proinst:
proinst: not such file or directory
proinst: bad interpreter
The Progress installation files were downloaded via the Progress ESD web page.
The Progress product was being installed from self-burned CD.

CAUSE:
The CD burn software had been improperly used. It made the CD unreadable on Linux.
FIX:
Repeat the CD burn process.
