How do I generate SmartObjects from ERwin ?
Start by opening the ERwin supplied empty model file named
"progress.er1" . Create your model. The SmartObject
templates are located in the Server Menu, Progress Schema
Properties, on the Pre & Post Script tab. Attach the
desired SmartObject scripts.

with ERwin describes each of the SmartObject scripts,
and how to generate them.
