Should I install the 16 bit or 32 bit version of ERwin ?
The 16 bit version of ERwin can be installed on a system with
Progress and the two products will run together without any problems.
There are some issues when using the 32 bit version of ERwin
with Progress V7.3, V8.0 and V8.1.
- The client must be running Windows 95 or Windows NT 3.51+
- The 32 bit version will generate long file names. Because long
filenames are not yet supported in Progress, the developer
may need to rename some ERwin generated files, including
triggers, SmartObject, etc.
