Status: Unverified
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 9.1D
Windows
SYMPTOM(s):
Error running deployed Open Client application.
ADM. ** "<file-name>" was not found. (293).
adm2/smart.p was not found. (293).
A 9.1D development license is not installed on deployment machine.
Previous patch installations (such as 9.1C) applied the \GUI\ADM2 folder.
CHANGE:
Upgraded from 9.1C to 9.1D01.
CAUSE:
Prior to 9.1D, Progress patches suppled the ADM2 folders. 9.1D service packs no longer install this folder. The ADM2 folder is now only installed with a Progress development license, such as Provision.
FIX:
Copy the \GUI\ADM2 folder from a Progress development license installation.
Be sure that the development installation your copying from contains the same Progress service pack level.
