GOAL:
Should the Application and Progress installation be on each local machine or the DB server?
FACT(s) (Environment):

FIX:
Although it is certainly possible to install both the Application and Progress onto each client machine, this is not the best method.
The best method for ease of installation and maintenance would be to:
1. Install Progress onto a network server, this can be the DB server, but does not have to be.
2. Perform a NETSETUP on each client from the Progress install in step 1.
3. Install the application on a network resource, again, this can be the either the DB server and/or the Progress install but does not have to be.
The three parts (DB, Progress, Application) can be all on the same server or on individual servers depending on requirements.
