SYMPTOM(s):
SQL-92 connection to Progess database via MS Access.
"Authorization Failure" error accessing linked table.
Error occurs after leaving current MS Access session and then trying to re-establish connection for a query.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows
Progress 9.1X
CAUSE:
The link to database is no longer authenticated.
FIX:
To preserve the ODBC link in MS Access to the Progress database, click on "Save Password" in screen during setup of tables to be accessed.
