Roundtable - Cannot connect to workspace database - userid
Blanks in user passwords prevent workspace database connection.
Roundtable does not quote the user's password when including it in
the connection statement for any workspace databases. If the user has
inserted a blank in their password, Progress may interpret a portion
of the password as an additional invalid connection parameter.
The user will see messages:
Cannot connect database ... Correct connection error below and try
again.
** Could not recognize argument: ... (301)
Until Roundtable is modified to fix this problem, the best workaround
is to not insert blanks in passwords.
