SYMPTOM(s):
SonicMQ 4GL adapter is freezing
Sonic Explorer and the Sonic 4GL Adapter are run on the same machine
No errors reported
Have to kill the process for SonicQM 4GL adapter
Freezing happen when retreiving messages by the dispatcher program
Sending messages it is OK
Not possible to start the Sonic Explorer occasionally
CAUSE:
Bug # 20020425-017 - A deadlock condition between two threads attempting to access the same queue without correctly sycronizing it
FIX:
Fixed on 9.1E
For 9.1C apply the latest patch and for patch 9.1D apply at least Service Pack 9.1D001.
