FACT(s) (Environment):

SYMPTOM(s):
AppServer broker failed to register with the remote NameServer
No response received to keep-alive message sent to NameServer. (8550)
Firewall exists between the machine hosting the AppServer and machine hosting the NameServer
CAUSE:
Firewall prevents the udp registration message going from AppServer broker to the NameServer, or it prevents the udp acknowledge message from NameServer to AppServer broker as a reponse to the registration message.
FIX:
Open all udp ports on the firewall between machine hosting the AppServer broker and the machine hosting the NameServer.
