FACT(s) (Environment):

DataDirect Connect ODBC driver
SYMPTOM(s):
Message appears every time Windows NT is booting.
User prefers not to reinstall ODBC driver
User prefers not to modify registry settings.
Registry key has entry: Configuring Data Access Components
Unable to open response file C:\WinNT\System32\odbcconf.tmp
C:\WinNT\System32\odbcconf.tmp failed to load or initialize.
CAUSE:
Although the ODBC driver works fine, the message indicates there was a problem during the installation where some details were not removed from the Registry.
FIX:
Use the Administrator account and log in to the machine. The message should appear once more, but is gone afterwards.
