SYMPTOM(s):
When performing a writing operation on the database
SYSTEM ERROR: bkaddr called with negative blkaddr: <number> (762)
Idxbuild was done and did not fix the problem
Dbrpr over some bad record fragment was done and did not fix the problem.
CAUSE:
The issue could be related hardware problems. But some other could be that customer is running a version that was compiled for HP10.xx and is being run on HP-UX 11. This configuration is unsupported and consequences of that are not recorded due it is unsupported.
FIX:
1) Restore the most recent backup on good conditions or,
2) Dump/load the database.
