How is the -S value found within Progress Explorer, appserver server properties, general section, determined?
FIX:
The -S value represents the port number or the name (from the services file) that represents the port on which the database was started.
This is the port that the appserver will use to connect to the database.
Select the database in Progress Explorer that the appserver will connect to.
Expand the listing down to the defaultServerGroup.
Under general tab, the service name or port number should match the questioned value.
