GOAL:
Are tables corrupt when: "buffer stack overflow" appears on the database log ?
GOAL:
Does "buffer stack overflow" message in the log file means corruption in the database tables ?
FACT(s) (Environment):
Progress 8.x
All Supported Operating Systems
FIX:
If the database is some how accessible, the tables within the database could be fine as long as a scan made with Proutil DBRPR show no signs of corruption.
The Buffer stack overflow means that there is corruption in the master block, but if files can be dumped they should contain the correct information.
