GOAL:
Would a 4GL or a SQL-92 9.1C client work with a 9.1D database server?
FIX:
From a connectivity point of view, a 9.1C client will connect to a 9.1D database. However, from an application point of view, a 9.1C application may or may nor work against a 9.1D database server depending on the configuration involved and the functionalities being used.
To avoid versioning conflicts, Progress highly recommends that both server and client be of the same version whenever feasible.
