Roundtable object line length limit of 1022 characters
This kbase describes a limit that exists in Roundtable with regard
to the length of lines within objects that are checked into the
repository.
Currently, the length of single lines within in object being
copied into the Roundtable repository is limited to 1022 characters.
This limitation is in RTBWIN.DLL which copies object contents line by
line into the repository.
Some customers may get the error :
"Error! DLL.LoadFiles Error:Line Too long 2".
Customers are advised to check their code for very long lines in
their source code or other text files being checked in. In some cases
when code generators are used to generate Progress code, this
limitation can cause problems as the code is generated as one long
string.
There is no other work-around for this issue.
