Getting WebSpeed server serial number for Unix(All versions)
In order to determine if a WebSpeed customer is eligible to receive
phone support, we must have the WebSpeed server serial number. On
Unix systems, this can be gotten using the showcfg command.
Have the customer log in to the server machine. If their environment
is set up correctly and the DLC environment variable is set, the
customer can type:
$DLC/bin/showcfg $DLC/progress.cfg
If DLC is not set, the customer will need to type in the full path,
for example:
/usr/dlc/bin/showcfg /usr/dlc/progress.cfg
showcfg will list the customer's serial number and control codes.
