SYMPTOM(s):
Getting Internal Server Error
Using ?WSMAdmin
Using URL having the long host name, long virtual host name, or long script
(cgi-bin) directory name
Apache web server returns: Internal Server Error 500
IIS causestimeout and terminates the cgiip messenger
URL .http://virtualhost/cgi-bin/cgiip?VerifyConfig&Level=0, works fine

CAUSE:
Bug# OE00078204
CAUSE:
This it is related to the calculation of the size of a string to host the URL so it can happen even with non-virtual hosts and a very long URL (like a long scripts directory).
FIX:
Upgrade to Progress 9.1E or later
Upgrade to OpenEdge 10.0A or later
Workaround:
Specify /WService=brokername in the URL to run ?WSMAdmin.
