Status: Verified
SYMPTOM(s):
Error The file hhctrl.ocx on HTML Help cannot be found
Running installation on a Win 98 client
FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows 98
Progress 9.1D
CAUSE:
The version of HTML Help is less than what the installation expects and therefore it attempts to update it.
FIX:
Run the HTML Help installation separately before running the Progress installation. For a more complete solution, refer to Release Note RN# 091D-00403, IE version less than IE 5.5 may cause HTML Help Installation errors
An alternative workaround is to install on a system with IE 5.5 or greater, which contains a version of HTML Help from Microsoft that is greater than the minimum required during installation.
