Protrace files shows specific function: orafcomp
Open client application connects to AppServer
CAUSE:
This function is called when a compile against a where clause for a FIND, FOR EACH query is run against Oracle. Interesting enough, there were some bugs with appserver code (ultimately affecting oracle dsrv) in progress 9.1B. The problem was, that Progress made patch fixes on 9.1C, no fixes were made in 9.1B, as there was a code freeze at that time in 9.1B.

Upgrade to Progress 9.1C
