SYMPTOM(s):
Progress runs faster in a PC than in a server
They use the same parameters in the two machines.
CAUSE:
There are many hardware configuration issues that can explain this, like the disk speed, the fragmentation of the files, the controller card configuration, the number of users connected to the server, etc.
FIX:
This is not a Progress issue, Progress executables are not aware on what kind of hardware is in use. This should be reported to the hardware vendor.
