FACT(s) (Environment):

SYMPTOM(s):
Unable to determine service pack level.
Warning occurs when applying a 9.1D service pack.
CAUSE:
Only two possible causes:
1) Applying a a 64bit service pack to a 32bit Progress installation.
2) Applying a a 32bit service pack to a 64bit Progress installation.
FIX:
If you have a 32bit version of Progress, you can not apply a Progress 64bit service pack. Conversely, if you have a 64bit version of Progress you can not apply a Progress 32bit service pack. You must download and apply the appropriate service pack for your specific Progress product. A 32bit Progress installation requires a Progress 32bit service pack. Whereas, a 64bit Progress installation requires a Progress 64bit service pack.
