Actuate maintenance recommendations
FIX:
The server maintenance include running ACDEFRAG periodically. The data files are getting fragmented and it's good practice to run ACDEFRAG weekly or every two weeks.
Keep the number of completed notices low. Don't generate completed notices if you don't need them. For example you can turn "off" completed notices for successfully generated reports and keep "on" only for failed. This will reduce amount of completed notices significantly.

Backup of the actuate encyclopedia is a critical. Encyclopedia is stored in admin, object and request directory. You need to backup three directories to have a backup copy available at any time. Actuate server need to be down or switch to
"online backup mode" prior to backup.
Do not delete any files from the server directory.
