FIX:
When HP released version 11.00 they introduced their 64-bit architecture. With the release of HP-UX 11.00 (64-bit) they provided forward binary compatibility which is meant to allow applications developed on earlier versions of HP-UX to run on this new architecture. By releasing HP-UX 11.00, HP has provided the capability for users to either install a 32-bit or 64-bit version of HP-UX 11.00. Providing this choice allows users to decide which version of HP/UX they want to run their pre-existing application on.
HP/UX 11.00 supports a 32-bit environment on both their 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Because of this, Progress' 32-bit product for HP/UX 11.00 is supported on both versions of their kernel.
The first version of Progress that was ported for this version of HP/UX was 8.2x of Progress. Since then the latest versions of 8.3 and 9.0 have also been certified to run on HP/UX 11.00.
For the most recent information regarding Progress supportability on HP/UX 11.00 see the latest version of the Progress Product Availability Guide.
