Progress international files (PROMSGS CONVMAP empty.db)
There are potentially two different Progress products that need to be
ordered for proper international support.
First of all there is the DBE supplement in the Windows environment.
In the UNIX environment the DBE files are always included however, the
make_dbe script must be run to enable the DBE executables. The DBE
supplement for Windows provides these same DBE executables.
The other product that may be needed is the International Promessages
supplement. This provides multinational PROMSGS files. There are a
few other system files that are provided as well. German, French and
Spanish are provided with Progress by default. Any other language
requires the International Promsgs.
