FACT(s) (Environment):

SYMPTOM(s):
Error when trying to start database
User prefers not to truncate bi file
Shared memory in use by another process. (1260)
CAUSE:
Database was not closed properly.
This can happen due to user error or hardware system malfunction.
The Shared Memory Id is still retained on the system.
FIX:
Run Proutil -C dbipcs to find the Shared Memory that is associated with the dbase
Run ipcrm (unix command) to remove the Shared Memory ID.
