Can you use Progress for the external db system required when running Citrix MetaFrame?
GOAL:
MetaFrame requires a database system for storing user information, connection information
GOAL:
When installing MetaFrame, you are prompted whether you have an external db system or want to use e.g. MS Access or MSSQL.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Citrix MetaFrame (for Windows 2000 Terminal Server)
FACT(s) (Environment):
Citrix MetaFrame (for Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server)
FIX:
Citrix have not tested with the Progress Database for this function and suggest using a DB with which they have tested, therefore it is not possible or recommended to use the Progress Database for the Citrix Database.
