Status: Unverified
FACT(s) (Environment):
Roundtable
SYMPTOM(s):
Incomplete list on selective compile in Roundtable
The objects still requiring compilation are SDO's and SDV's
CAUSE:
Roundtable's bug
FIX:
There is a patch for 9.1C addressing that issue on Starbase's website
http://www.roundtable-tsms.com (on the Support page)
Find detailed instructions for applying the Roundtable's patch below.
. After having run the "Roundtable - InstallShield Wizard" and to follow the instructions given by Starbase:
run _update.w (no schema update, incremental compile)
do the following:
. Use the Roundtable Setup Shortcut as per the installation of Roundtable and run:
<drive>:\<progress_dlc>\bin\prowin32.exe -1 -p _update.w
Start in <drive>:<Roundtable_installation>
. On the second screen of Roundtable Setup and Update", click the radio button "Skip schema update".
Unless you had defined a specific parameter file for compile at installation, the default "<drive>:<Roundtable_installation>\compile.pf" is okay. You have in that file the connection to the Repository and any parameters you would have added at installation; you can modify the contain of that file if you want at this step of "Roundtable Setup and Update".
. On the next screen, click on the button "Incremental - Compiles only procedures affected by update".
